New Cancer treatment offered!

Healing Hands Animal Hospital opened its doors to 'all creatures small' on May 2, 2005. A year in the making, Healing Hands Animal Hospital offers a variety of services including internal medicine and surgical services, dentistry, radiology, acupuncture, Chinese herbs, and chiropractic.

In less than a year of working together as associates in another practice, it was obvious to co-owners Drs. Lewis and Wolinski that they shared a common philosophy: provide quality and in-depth veterinary care with compassion and empathy...thus, the concept of Healing Hands Animal Hospital was born.

The former Main Street Medical Center building at 727 East Main Street was the perfect location, and the building was the perfect fit to accommodate this multi-modality practice.

Ask the Doctor

How can we prevent our dog from getting heartworms?
First of all, we recommend dogs stay on heartworm preventative year round. Heartworms are transmitted by mosquitoes and it is possible to see mosquitoes in January, if we have a few warm days. Larval (baby) heartworms are transmitted to the dog ...
