We believe veterinary medicine can be far better than what most people experience. We combine two worlds to get there. Our tools are state-of-the-art, and our physicians and team are among the most talented that you will find anywhere. When appropriate, we combine modern veterinary care with therapies from Traditional Chinese Veterinary Medicine. This uncommon breadth gives your pet access to uniquely targeted treatments that are custom tailored for their own situation. Our patients heal more quickly, more effectively, and have access to the best of both worlds. Because your pet deserves nothing less than the best.

We’ve got your back
Everything we do is imbued with compassion. We care, deeply, about the wellness of your pet. We know how much they mean to you. We believe this feeling is instrumental in practicing truly exceptional medicine. When you care so deeply, you make sure to pay close attention to every single pet that walks through our doors. They are treated and viewed as individuals. This means we catch things that others may miss. This means your pet has healthcare that is truly second to none.
We want you to feel empowered to make the right decisions for your pet, and to grow the connection that you share with your dog or cat. This is why it is so important to us to teach you about the issues that your pet faces. We will help you slow down and truly understand what is best for your pet. We will take the time to listen to your concerns, and make sure that you feel heard, understood, and respected. Caring for an animal is an amazing thing. To us, you are a hero. We exist for you.
What your neighbors say…
My mini Dachshund was experiencing back problems. He had bounded down our back steps to chase a squirrel. Later that day, I noticed he was limping. As the day progressed, he couldn’t move his back legs and even had trouble going to the bathroom. I took him to my regular vet and upon examination it was recommended that I take him to Dr. Lewis at Healing Hands. She thoroughly examined him and advised acupuncture. I was skeptical but gave my permission. When Bailey was brought back to me after the procedure (about 30 mins.) I could not believe the difference in my boy! He was walking again and actually wagged his tail a little, which he couldn’t do before. He did have to have a few more treatments to get him back to normal but I have to say I was thrilled with the whole experience! I’ve never seen anything like it and I’m so thankful for this practice and the knowledge/proficiency that was evident.
I am so grateful to have been introduced to Healing Hands as a result of Dr. Christina Abramowicz joining their team with Chinese Medicine and Acupuncture as we were already patients of hers. Since coming to Healing Hands I now take our Gracie ( an 11 year old lab ) to Dr. Carol Lewis for Chiropractic and Traditional Veterinarian Medicine. The staff and everyone I have dealt with there has been exceptional right down to follow up calls after a visit. Just a week ago today Gracie had a mass removed from her leg by Dr. Lewis ( which had gone undiagnosed at another clinic ) and I’ve received four calls to see how she’s doing, I’ve never experienced such concern and follow up from a clinic and it means the world to any parent of a beloved companion animal. I follow a holistic approach to my own health and know that I have found the best of both worlds for our Gracie at Healing Hands Animal Hospital.
This is by far the best place to take you dog, cat or any pet. The staff is awesome and always caring. You’re treated with respect- both you and your animal. Love that they have alternative treatments available.
Dr Lewis and her staff have gone above and beyond for my American Bulldog over the last nine years. I wholeheartedly endorse them to all of my pet-owning friends.
